- Aethina tumida est un coléoptère jamais signalé au Bénin et qui rend l'odeur du miel sembable à celle d'orange pourrie. Il a été découvert pour la première fois au Nord est du Bénin en 2007 et a fait chuté de manière drastique la prouction apicole.

- Aethina tumida is a coleopter ever announced in Benin and which returns the honey odor like to that of rotted orange. It was discovered for the first time at North east of Benin in 2007 and made dropped honey production.¶
