- L’article propose une analyse re´trospective de cinquante ans de production cotonnie`re
dans les pays de l’Afrique zone franc (PAZF) pour identifier les facteurs d’efficacite´ des

- The paper deals with the identification of factors affecting the efficiency of cotton policies
in Franc Zone African Countries on the basis of a fifty year retrospective analysis.
The cotton policy is assimilated to a set of institutional arrangements, i.e. rules, or
groups of rules, impacting the interaction between players involved in cotton production
