- Bien que l'exploitation de pétrole brut domine le secteur principal au Tchad (64.6 % de la valeur ajoutée de secteur) l'agriculture avec des restes de coton importants. Dans le coton des zones(domaines) croissantes, 80 % des fermiers dans la zone de Savane cultivent coton (338500 tenues agricoles de 423000).

- Even though the primary sector in Chad is dominated by the crude oil exploitation (64.6% of
the sector added value) agriculture with cotton remains important. In cotton growing areas,
80% of the farmers in Savannah zone grow cotton (338 500 farm holdings out of 423 000).
