- Le redéploiement des espaces politico-institutionnels comme les processus d'intégration économique redonnent, en cette fin de siècle, un intérêt certain à la problématique de la frontière et de ses effets spatiaux. La frontière ouverte implique le passage du concept d'économie des zones de frontière à celui d'économie transfrontalière.
