Comportement du marché au Bénin

- Ce rapport a présenté une évaluation complète du comportement de marché au Bénin, par une analyse du niveau du marché, de la situation et de la structure des marchés agricoles au chapitre 2, une large analyse microéconomique des opérations des commerçants au chapitre 3 et une analyse spatiale des flux de produits au chapitre 4.
Dans le chapitre 2, les questions clefs de politique ont été mises en évidence à propos du transport, du stockage et d'autres infrastructures de marché, l'accès au crédit, la structure régulatrice des marchés et les institutions du marché. Les résultats de l'analyse à l’échelle du marché suggèrent que les réformes aient abouti à une significative entrée au marché des commerçants privés. De la même façon, les infrastructures de transport ont positivement changé à la suite des réformes, tant en termes de nouvelles constructions de routes que des améliorations des routes existantes. Les infrastructures de transformation sont aussi significativement améliorées en cette période. Un autre facteur positif est la fréquence des associations de commerçants au Bénin et le puissant appui public qui leur est accordé.

- This report has presented a comprehensive assessment of market behavior in Benin, by analyzing the level of the market situation and the structure of agricultural markets in Chapter 2, a large microeconomic analysis of the operations of traders in Chapter 3 and analysis spatial flow of goods in Chapter 4.
In Chapter 2, the key policy issues have been identified regarding the transportation, storage and other market infrastructures, access to credit, market and regulatory structure of the market institutions. The results of the scale analysis suggests that market reforms have resulted in a significant market entry of private traders. Similarly, the transport infrastructure has positively changed as a result of the reforms, both in terms of new construction of roads improvements of existing roads. Processing infrastructure were also significantly improved in this period. Another positive factor is the frequency of trade associations in Benin and the strong public support that they receive.
