- Abstract
- English abstract
- Agro-Pastoral Units (APU) correspond to a reorganization of the Project
Pastoral Arrangements (PPA) which ran for 9 years from 1982 to 1990 with a transition unit in 1991. With its significant achievements, the PPA has changed the face of the Savannah region of Cote d'lvoire. The project builds on these achievements APU agro-pastoral-oriented integration of farming and ranching with broad participation of rural populations. For the first phase of the project which began in 1993, Agro-pastoralism is the North component of the National Program of Rural Management of space (NPRMS).
