  • Abstract

  • The role of women on farms in the cotton areas is known with little precision. Research Farms in cotton-growing areas suffer from a lack of up-to-date knowledge in Francophone Africa. The liberalization of the cotton sectors is one reason for this.
The knowledge on the role of women in the farms in the cotton zones remains incomplete or even imprecise. The FAM&COMM project (http://www.fam-comm.net/) is being carried out to shed light on certain aspects of this role.
Newsletters Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 have provided information on characteristics of women on the farms. This bulletin concerns the occupation of time by these women in Togo.
