- Le manioc joue un rôle clé dans la sécurité alimentaire des populations les plus pauvres du Bénin. Cependant, cette plante est attaquée par plusieurs ravageurs et maladies dont particulièrement l’acarien vert. Les attaques de l’acarien vert réduisent les rendements en racines de 20 à 80%. - Cassava is a key for food security of poor populations in Benin. However, many pest and diseases attack this plant, mainly the cassava green mite. Damages by cassava green mite reduce root yields by 20 to 80%.
